~ We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love. ~ ~ Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over. ~ ~ We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. ~ ~ A girls heart is like a dark wood ~ ~ It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. ~ ~ Do not judge your neighbor until you walk two moons in his moccasins.
Our first teacher is our own heart.
Judge not by the eye but by the heart. ~ ~ We are made from Mother Earth and we go back to Mother Earth.
It is no longer good enough to cry peace, we must act peace, live peace and live in peace. ~ ~ The theatre is the best way of showing the gap between what is said and what is seen to be done, and that is why, ragged and gap-toothed as it is, it has still a far healthier potential than some poorer, abandoned arts. ~ ~ Goodwill is contagious;

goodwill will permeate the world,
right human relations will be rapidly established. ~ ~ Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known. ~ ~ Let no one think that real gardening is a bucolic and meditative occupation. It is an insatiable passion, like everything else to which a man gives his heart. ~ ~ Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue. ~ ~ President Kennedy understood the importance of equal pay for equal work and signed historic legislation that gave women around the country hope that one day their wages would be on par with that of their male counterparts. ~ ~ Learn the art of patience. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success. ~ ~ A loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedom and can never grow in a jealous heart. ~ ~ The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart. ~ ~ For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. ~ ~ It is not flesh and blood, but heart which makes us fathers and sons. ~ ~ The world talks to the mind.
