Denial is a common tactic that substitutes deliberate ignorance for thoughtful planning. ~ ~ Slow violence is seldom recognized. Hunger, poverty and injustice usually aren?t acknowledged until after the revolution. ~ ~ That there should one man die ignorant who had capacity for knowledge, this I call a tragedy. ~ ~ Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.
