~ Property is intended to serve life, and no matter how much we surround it with rights and respect, it has no personal being. It is part of the earth man walks on. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it. ~ ~ Poverty is relative, and the lack of food and of the necessities of life is not necessarily a hardship. Spiritual and social ostracism, the invasion of your privacy, are what constitute the pain of poverty. ~ ~ We have to remember that no matter how much hardship we go through in our life, there is always going to be that fragile place in our heart. ~ ~ The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life. ~ ~ Real success means creating a life of meaning through service that fulfills your reason for being here. ~ ~ If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things. ~ ~ The discovery of agriculture was the first big step toward a civilized life. ~ ~ There is not one big cosmic meaning for all, there is only the meaning we each give to our life, an individual meaning, an individual plot, like an individual novel, a book for each person. ~ ~ Every man's life ends the same way.
