Then I forced myself to do another and it was the best thing I've done for weeks. ~ ~ The deep rewards of giving go to those who give out of a concern for others, and take pains to see that their giving is wisely done, to meet real needs and seize promising opportunities. ~ ~ Fans are really important for me. A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet. ~ ~ Every day I live I am more convinced that the waste of life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used, the selfish prudence that will risk nothing and which, shirking pain, misses happiness as well. ~ ~ Of joys departed, not to return, how painful the remembrance. ~ ~ Pleasure is a sort of oblivion, a forgetfulness.
