Then we expect them to educate our children ~ ~ These worthy schoolteachers were not overburdened with diplomas, but as far as devotion and morality were concerned, they were second to none; they wore plum-colored silk blouses that caressed my cheeks when they pressed me to their bosoms. ~ ~ Internet safety begins at home and that is why my legislation would require the Federal Trade Commission to design and publish a unique website to serve as a clearinghouse and resource for parents, teachers and children for information on the dangers of surfing the Internet. ~ ~ Teachers teach because they care. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. ~ ~ Teachers perform major miracles in America, daily. ~ ~ Teachers must be celebrated for moving civilization from ignorance to enlightenment, from apathy to responsibility. ~ ~ It is a lonely existence to be a child with a disability which no-one can see or understand, you exasperate your teachers, you disappoint your parents, and worst of all you know that you are not just stupid. ~ ~ My education was dismal.
