~ As I began to discover my own truth and endeavored to possess it with clarity, I became more and more alienated from that which my companions held, or professed to hold. ~ ~ Death is a state of non-being. That which is not, does not exist. Therefore death does not exist. Only truth exists. Truth and beauty. Each is interchangeable, but are aspects of themselves. Er, what specifically did they say they had in mind for me? ~ ~ Music is like this porthole to another world- the world of truth. ~ ~ Those who call us terrorists wish to prevent world public opinion from discovering the truth about us and from seeing the justice on our faces. They seek to bide the terrorism and tyranny of their acts, and our own posture of self-defence. ~ ~ The experiences which drugs induce are as far removed from Reality as is a mirage, from water. No matter how much you pursue the mirage, you will never quench your thirst, and the search for Truth through drugs must end in disillusionment. ~ ~ Loving truth and living honestly is my attitude to life. Be true to yourself and be true to others, thus you can be the judge of your behavior. ~ ~ Truth is a naked and open daylight, that doth not shew the masks and mummeries and triumphs of the world, half so stately and daintily as candlelights. ~ ~ Truth will sooner come out from error than from confusion. ~ ~ The truth is, when all is said and done, one does not teach a subject, one teaches a student how to learn it. ~ ~ Truth, as Bergson knew, is a hard apple, whether one is throwing it or catching it. ~ ~ Truth is simple. They who say that truth is complicated deceive themselves, and the truth is not in them. ~ ~ The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers

* Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values.
* Making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe.
~ ~ The belief that there is only one truth, and that oneself is in possession of it, is the root of all evil in the world ~ ~ The stupid believe that to be truthful is easy; only the artist, the great artist, knows how difficult it is. ~ ~ Truth, self control, asceticism, generosity, non-injury, constancy in virtue ó these are the means of success, not caste or family. ~ ~ Eating, loving, singing and digesting are, in truth, the four acts of the comic opera known as life, and they pass like bubbles of a bottle of champagne. Whoever lets them break without having enjoyed them is a complete fool. ~ ~ Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it. ~ ~ Good writers define reality; bad ones merely restate it. A good writer turns fact into truth; a bad writer will, more often than not, accomplish the opposite. ~ ~ Great leadership does not mean running away from reality. Sometimes the hard truths might just demoralize the company, but at other times sharing difficulties can inspire people to take action that will make the situation better. ~ |
