~ Women of the world crave excitement. ~ ~ Fatigue makes women talk more and men less. ~ ~ Women of the world crave excitement. ~ ~ Intimacies between women often go backwards, beginning in revelations and ending in small talk without loss of esteem. ~ ~ Love is something far more than desire for sexual intercourse; it is the principal means of escape from the loneliness which afflicts most men and women throughout the greater part of their lives. ~ ~ The word "Witch" carries so many negative connotations that many people wonder why we use the word at all. Yet to reclaim the word "Witch" is to reclaim our right, as women, to be powerful; as men, to know the feminine within as divine. ~ ~ England is the paradise of women, the purgatory of men, and the hell of horses. ~ ~ For women the best aphrodisiacs are words. The G-spot is in the ears. He who looks for it below there is wasting his time. ~ ~ Women thrive on novelty and are easy meat for the commerce of fashion. Men prefer old pipes and torn jackets. ~ ~ Men are sad because they have to die so soon, women are sad because they were born so long ago. ~ ~ Women's gentle brain Could not drop forth such giant rude invention ~ ~ There are few good women who do not tire of their role. ~ ~ Sculpture is more divine, and more like Nature, That fashions all her works in high relief, And that is Sculpture. This vast ball, the Earth, Was moulded out of clay, and baked in fire; Men, women, and all animals that breathe Are statues, and not paintings. ~ ~ It has been very erotic and provocative for people to wonder about my feelings for women. ~ ~ On one issue at least, men and women agree; they both distrust women. ~ ~ God knows it did not cross our minds to attack the towers but after the situation became unbearable and we witnessed the injustice and tyranny of the American-Israeli alliance against our people in Palestine and Lebanon, I thought about it. And the events that affected me directly were that of 1982 and the events that followed -- when America allowed the Israelis to invade Lebanon, helped by the U.S. Sixth Fleet. As I watched the destroyed towers in Lebanon, it occurred to me punish the unjust the same way (and) to destroy towers in America so it could taste some of what we are tasting and to stop killing our children and women. ~ ~ If women didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no meaning. ~ ~ how brave men have been in destruction. Men feared witches and burnt women. It is the function of speech to free men from the bondage of irrational fears. ~ ~ Men tend to take abortion lightly; they regard it as one of the numerous hazards imposed on women by malignant nature, but fail to realise fully the values involved. The woman who has recourse to abortion is disowning feminine values, her values, and at the same time is in most radical fashion running counter to the ethics established by men. Her whole moral universe is being disrupted....[H]ow could they fail to feel an inner mistrust of the presumptuous principles that men publicly proclaim and secretly disregard? They learn to believe no longer in what men say when they exalt woman or when they exalt man; the one thing they are sure of is this rifled and bleeding womb, these shreds of crimson life, this child that is not there. ~ ~ Abortion may be sinful or immoral, but it is not the function of the law to enforce the whole of morality. It is difficult to understand what religious or moral principle, what divine or human purpose, is served by compelling underprivileged women to undergo pregnancy for the full term and to bear unsought and frequently unwanted children or to risk sickness or death at the hands of incompetent and frequently lecherous and importunate abortionists. No doubt the fact that the price of maintaining this principle is paid almost exclusively by the poor has delayed its critical examination ~ ~ We have drugs to make women speak, but none to keep them silent. ~ |
