Abundance is, in large part, an attitude
The only tired I was, was tired of giving in,
Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.
The remarkable thing is that we really love our neighbor as ourselves: we do unto others as we do unto ourselves. We hate others when we hate ourselves. We are tolerant toward others when we tolerate ourselves. We forgive others when we forgive ourselves. We are prone to sacrifice others when we are ready to sacrifice ourselves.
If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right. also attributed to Mary Kay Ash
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers
M.
To succeed, we must first believe that we can.
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions.
We awaken in others the same attitude of mind we hold toward them.
Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.
Take charge of your attitude. Don't let someone else choose it for you.
Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.
A positive attitude may not solve every problem but it makes solving any problem a more pleasant experience.
Pathetic attitudes are not in keeping with greatness
I'm tired of being treated like a second-class citizen.
Any negative attitude on the part of others towards you is their pain, not yours.
We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piese of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken away from man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms
- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.
If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.
You really can change the world if you care enough.
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.
A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change.
Not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it, just as a lack of belief in gravity won’t prevent you from tripping.

We are who we choose to be. We see what we choose to see. The world swims around us, vast and complex and out of our control. It is in turns frightening and wondrous and mundane. Through all the turns the world takes, we choose how to react, how to perceive the events around us and fit them into our model of the world. Our attitude shapes these choices. Attitude is the filter we wear over our senses; it guides and fashions those perceptions. Life is hard, there is no doubt, but it contains joy. We must choose to see that joy. The choice of attitude, the choice of what filter we use to see the world, is the most important choice we make. We need to make that choice again and again with every new day, every new situation. Life is short. We can only hope we are able to choose wisely. |
